I am a writer and editor with an artistic bent, an anthropology-inclined journalist, an experienced food critic, and an aspiring multi-media storyteller.

I spent my early childhood in an idyllic bungalow in New Delhi, grew up bookish in the public school system of a DC suburb, went to college in a two-street town outside Philadelphia, then spent a few years in Delhi, reporting on the cultural scene of a capital city gripped by feverish change.

I currently live in New York City, where I recently finished a masters degree from Columbia.
